FAIR

The FAIR (Forest-Atmosphere Interactions Research) site is located in a Scots pine forest near the village of Obermieming about 40 km west of Innsbruck. The site features a 30-m flux tower with five levels of turbulence measurements (including water vapour, carbon dioxide and a variety of chemical species), radiation and basic meteorological measurements above- and below-canopy, soil measurements as well as various eco-physiological observations (e.g sap flow, dendrometry, chlorophyll fluorescence).
